Online Services
Any orders/requests for quotes made outside of standard business hours (8 AM to 5PM AEST Monday to Friday) will be processed by our Customer Service Team with priority at the beginning of the next business day.
Order Deadlines
Auscript goes to great lengths to provide all transcripts in a timely manner. For Federal Court and AAT matters a 10am cut-off applies for Progressive and Same Day transcripts. If an order for a progressive or same day transcript is received after 10am, the transcript will be due in 24 hours. We encourage all parties to order well in advance of the 10am cut-off to ensure transcripts are received by the end of the day.
Estimations
All indications of expected final costs are estimations. The final chargeable amount may differ substantially to the estimate provided.
The following estimations are to be used as guides only.
Full day hearing. . .$1400
Half day hearing. . .$700
Directions. . . . . . . .Minimum of 30 folios per ordering party

In all cases Auscript provides estimates that take into account a range of influential variables such as length of recording, quality of audio, number of speakers and location. When any of these (or similar) variables change after an estimation of costs has been provided, the change will impact upon the final price. Please call 1300 308 420 to discuss transcript costings with a Customer Service Team member.
Pricing
Transcript is priced per folio (100 words) and a minimum charge of 30 folios per party per order applies.
A security deposit of $250.00 per hearing hour applies to all clients who are not Credit Account holders with Auscript.
Transcript will not be delivered unless full payment is received or you have an approved Credit Account with Auscript.
Payment
If ordering transcript regularly, we suggest opening a Credit Account with Auscript to streamline ordering and delivery arrangements.

If you order transcript infrequently and do not hold a current credit account with us, please note that an advance payment in the form of a Security Deposit of $250 per hearing hour must be paid. In most cases, this deposit will resemble one of the three estimations provided above. This is to ensure that adequate resources will be available for the timely production and delivery of transcript in accordance with requirements.
The Security Deposit is an estimate only. If there is an additional amount to be paid, or a refund due, a Customer Service Team member will contact you to finalise payment arrangements before the transcript can be delivered.
Auscript suggests the following options for payment of the Security Deposit
Credit Card [FAX ONLY] - Provide credit card details for a convenient and fast option to ensure delivery of your transcript. By providing your signature you are authorising Auscript to debit your credit card.
Cheque or Money Order - Whilst a convenient way to pay, remember that payment of the Security Deposit is required before Auscript will make the necessary arrangements for the production and delivery of transcript.
Cash [Over the Counter] - This option is only convenient when you are personally at the counter of one of our State Offices. However, this method will ensure that payment of the Security Deposit, and all arrangements for production and delivery of transcript, will be processed immediately.
