On Monday 3 August 2009, Auscript Head Office will open for business in a newly completed 'green' building in the heart of Brisbane’s emerging legal precinct.
Auscript's new headquarters will be at Santos Place, 32 Turbot Street, only metres from the Commonwealth Law Courts and the soon to be opened Tank Street bridge.
Peter Wyatt, Auscript Managing Director is positive about the fast approaching move.
"We have grown steadily since 2004, and with our existing lease at Adelaide Street ending this year, our priority was to relocate to larger premises that could accommodate the future growth of the Company, and also reduce our carbon footprint through intelligent sustainability measures," he said today.
The Nielson Properties office tower was recently awarded a 6 Star Green Star rating by the Green Building Council and is targeting a 5 star NABERS rating.
Amongst other green initiatives, the building features state-of-the-art power, ventilation and lighting, storage for up to 120,000 litres of rainwater and substantial external protection from the elements via shading and double-glazing.
The 10-year lease provides Auscript, including subsidiary software development company Microgenx, with 1150 m2 of purpose-built operational space on the 16th floor of the 36 floor building.
