Auscript is very pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Chapman as the new General Manager of the Recording and Transcription Services (RTS) division.

Peter Wyatt, Managing Director & CEO, welcomes Mark Chapman to his new role.

"Mark brings a wealth of leadership, management and strategic skills gained over a 21 year career in the Military and nearly a decade in Australian business. At every turn of his career, he has been involved in working at the heart and head of high performance teams. I am confident that Mark will help Auscript build a strong and successful future."

Mark was the youngest Army Officer to be awarded the MBE (Member of Order of the British Empire). From operating with highly successful and respected military authorities such as American General Norman Schwarzkopf and British Commander General Sir Peter de la Billiere, to serving as an instructor at the prestigious Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and being involved in military operations in such areas as the Falklands, Northern Ireland, Bosnia and the Gulf War, Mark understands what underpins sound and effective leadership.

His last military posting was to Australia as an instructor to the Australian armed forces in tactics and leadership. This role saw Mark involved in gaining an understanding of the Australian culture and way of life and in 2003 he elected to move to Australia with his wife and family. After completing the majority of his MBA he moved into the world of commerce taking on the role of the CEO of a local law firm in Brisbane for just over two years. He then joined GHD Hair as the General Manager for over a year where he successfully completed a major restructure.

Mark holds a degree in Business Studies from the University of West England (Bristol), Post Graduate Training in Leadership and Management from The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and an MBA from the University of Newcastle in NSW.
